Stendig Calendar 2020
This beautiful and exquisitely produced calendar was designed in 1966 by Massimo Vignelli and taken that year into the Design collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. After 50 years, a design from the sixties endures as an example of excellence in modern graphic design and is most appropriate for vintage or 21st Century distinguished homes and business environments. Many designers selected this calendar for their clients (both residence and commercial), when their designs are modern, contemporary, retro, vintage, etc. However, since the design is classic, it also incorporates into space designs with more traditional elements.
This impressive wall calendar (in the European style where Monday is the first day of the week), makes a great corporate gift, especially for architects, interior designers, real estate agents, or others in the home or design industry. Our large black and white calendar can also be found on the walls of law offices and physician’s offices (particularly those providing service to “vision impaired” patients). Measuring three feet by four feet, this large black and white Stendig Calendar, with its dramatic and bold graphics make it a popular as well as functional focal point of design in residential and commercial interiors around the world.
The Stendig wall calendar consists of twelve sheets printed on sixty pound weight offset paper stock. In random order, the calendar sheets for some months are reverse printed producing a black background with white letters and numerals with other months printed in black on white background. The sheets are perforated along a line just under the binding strip to allow them to be torn away neatly. (Removed sheets are great for wrapping gifts and other craft projects). The binding strip of the calendar has three matte black finish metal eyelets to facilitate easy hanging. This large black and white, European style wall calendar (three feet by four feet), with bold graphics, known as “The Stendig Calendar”, is published by the Cromwell Company in Nashville, Tennessee.
